The WWTA system for Tennis management, the WWTA Tennis System added three major updates in June 2015.

The first feature update is viewing the details of player match play history.  The sidebar of the player profile shows the win / loss record for the year and by clicking on the year, anyone can see match details.  For 2 weeks after the match is recorded any player included in the match record can delete or edit the details.  This is only possible on personal matches, not league or tournament play, where an event director certifies the outcome.

The second feature is the parental control feature which allows parents to set up and manage child account.  It is the first feature like this that allows tennis parents to create a tennis profile with their kids in a secure, safe manner and release the account automatically on the child’s 18th birthday.  Parents can release the child account sooner if they want.  See the full instructions on how child accounts work at: wwta.today/wwta-tennis-guide/ .

The third major feature is the awards feature which gives players a digital tennis trophy case.  This feature and the custom elements of it allow a tennis player to track and enjoy a lifetime of achievements and look back and reflect on how they have grown as a tennis player over the years.  Also, since this portion of the profile is public, it is a great way for family members to see accomplishments as well and share them in Social Media.

“Every week we make minor adjustments and improvements as well as add new features every month.  We are not going to stop until we have the best sports portal and community for any sport world wide.  Tennis is perfectly positioned as a sport for this kind of effort because of it’s universal appeal and because it is a sport that can be played for a lifetime,” said Ron McDaniel, founder of the World Wide Tennis Association.

The appeal can be seen by the diversity of growth of the WWTA membership across Europe, Asia and North America.
